Plastic ice bucket have good market in China in recently, as the camping is popuar in this years. And the bucket surface are having different pattern.
But do you know how is the plastic ice bucket make? -It is made by pastic injection mold.
We have made plastic ice bucket mold before, could make in PET/PC/ABS/PMMA/PP material, but due to the material is different, so that the bucket thickness will be different. If you want to know the suitable thickness for different material, we could make the mold flow analysis to you.
If you want to make transparent color plastic bucket, PET and PMMA materials are best choice.Because this two materials are high transparent material. And transparent color will have a good market in summer. But if you make the plastic PET material ice bucket mold, need to pay attention to the injection system. Accoridng to our experience, PET material is better to use hot runner big gate as cold runner is not stable during mass production.
For PET/PC/PMMA material, H13/S136 steel is suitable for the plastic ice bucket mold; PP/ABS coud use 718H/H13/S136 steel.
